Custom made pouches for a father & son
These are two custom made pouches we completed some time back for a father and his son. Well, the son Mr Loh wanted to get his dad something cool for his birthday, so he decided to commission Garrison Packs for these. What he wanted were pouches that are practical, suitable as EDC and made of the best materials we have.
A few items that must fit the pouch nicely
In reality, small pouches are the hardest items to make due to the size and complexity of the internal build up. Loh had specific items he wanted to fit in the pouches. So, we had to ‘borrow’ these items (those that we do not have) to make sure everything fits nicely. As for material, compromise is never an option, so it is all genuine Cordura and mil spec webbing plus no 10 YKK zippers for this project. Overkill? Yes…you bet!
Small pockets, inserts etc adds to the complexity of a particular pouch
Like all projects we work on, we start it off with a sketch and dimensions of what needs to be in place. The adage ‘Think twice cut once’ is the rule of thumb. Otherwise expensive material, resources and time would have been wasted.

We are really happy to have been given the opportunity to work on this project. Mr Loh sent us an email indicating that he loved the pouch and has been using it on a daily basis since the day he got it. He even went the extra mile to refer some of his friends and families to Garrison Packs for more custom made, military grade pouches, repairs and packs. Thanks Mr Loh!
